The bike maps take us on quiet back roads, through woods or farmland. The landscape looks pretty much like anywhere in the northeast now, though less developed.

The Plan: On May 27th, 2008 we begin our cross country bicycle tour along the Nothern Tier Route. Starting from the Pacific Ocean in Anacortes, Washington, we cycle east through 2 countries, 16 states, 4 national parks, and over 3 mountain ranges, (the Cascades, Rockies, and Adirondacks) and finishing on the Atlantic Ocean in beautiful Bar Harbor, Maine. The Reason: To be free, to see the world, and to live your dreams! "Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?"
